9th week

   [Block Prints of my 3 wood sculptures]

This week I wanted to create a wood black print of my 3 wood sculptures to bring them into a 2D world from a 3D world. I wanted it be along side the wood sculptures during the final exhibit show. From the critique that I got from the class was very positive they saw the similarities with the print and the sculptures saying that they both contain gesture. Also there was comparisons to Pablo Picasso and his cubism technique in his paintings. I got useful feedback into how I can implement these prints into other works like my abstract paintings, printing them on wood, or printing them using colors that are similar to the colors that are in the three wood sculptures. I'm will use this feedback that was given into my work because it will strengthen the process and will create a stronger outcome that I essentially had.
