1st week

                  [Acrylic on Canvas]
For this painting I used a Leonardo da Vinci, charcoal drawing called "The Lost of Anghiari." My main goal for this drawing was not mimic Leonardo da Vinci's precise technique, but to pay homage to him by appropriating his drawing with my own style. This painting led to a false representation of these figures which is the opposite of what Leonardo did in his original work. I came into this painting with no real direction with what I wanted the final outcome to be, it was a experiment painting where I did not believe in the accident I just kept painting.
               [Oil paint on wood]
This is a portrait of Muhammad Ali, and I decided to have a limited choice of color so I grabbed five colors to use. This was my first idea for what I wanted to do for this class.
