[previous work I have done that gave me inspiration for this week]

This week I wanted to move on from the work I made last week. I went back to a art style that I developed last semester and that inspired me to create this work. It is a more free flowing approach, and I wanted to combine three more 18x24 inch canvases to form a square so that I can create a larger piece. My old painting I used other materials and mixed it with the oil paint such coins ranging from pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and even paint brushes. I wanted to use similar materials in this work because it creates a 3-D effect on the canvas.
The criticism I got from my classmates was positive feed back and I feel like I am moving in the right direction, and even giving ways to better my work so the viewers can enjoy my work more.
